This could be boxed up and sold for $60, easily.

It’s only the first day at Toy Fair and we’ve had more people in our booth today than we’ve had for entire shows in the past. 3 days to go! Not sure if you can see this but here’s the new Random House book displays going into a special book store near you. We’ll be broadcasting live through Yahoo Live again tomorrow.Now that we know it works we’ll make it more interesting! Here’s one of the new Ice-Bat shirts.

display what’s coming out for that year.

I’ll be testing out the Yahoo LIVE! feature now. We won’t start regular broadcasts until March but I will give one a shot in a few minutes. Let’s say 7:15 to 7:25 LA time/ 10:15 to 10:25 NYC time. That’s 12:15 afternoon in Japan and Korea. The address is HERE

 Uglycon Tokyo! This year, Uglycon will be in Japan. The fantastic people at Stitch have offered to host Uglycon in Tokyo and we’re thrilled about it, as we have no idea what to expect! Surprise guests galore! We’ll have original art and special edition Uglys made just for the show. October 2008. Uglycon NYC!  That’s right, 2 Uglycons! This will take place at Giant Robot this December, 2008. This will be a much more mellow event, with no lines and an all new focus to keep things fun for all and sad for none! We’re super excited about this one! And can you believe we’re actually planning now for Uglycon 2009? It’s in LA and we can’t say where. The good people at Giant Robot may have come up with a brilliant plan for that one.  Woah. I have to pinch myself when I think about it. Ow.OH!Red Ice Bat Kaiju!  

 Ice-Bat Kaiju!These guys are made 100% in Japan of high quality plastic materials not available anywhere else! They aren’t really toys and are for ages 15 and up. That’s right! 14 year olds have to wait! These are like glass art sculptures. Only, they are made with Japan Kaiju vinyl.  The first version is an edition of 200, and the second clear red version is a run of 100 pieces and will be an uglydolls.com exclusive.  More news on the release date soon when we get the info from Intheyellow, the world famous Kaiju production company in Japan.
